The point is to not just play it a top league but to cope in it.
There have been many Albanians who played but couldn't cope at all. (Kapllani, Ndoj, Sadiku, etc).
Players like Abrashi, Meha, Memushaj, held their own the times they played there. That shows that they are decent players.

I think that goes without saying, I'm talking about guys like Djim, Hysaj, Kumbulla, Bare and Broja now. Guys who are established in these leagues.

The best Hungarian league player (Uzuni) signed for a bottom La Liga team and he's struggling to say the least.
It's a different universe of professionalism and expectations. The bottom ones might not be top players but by Albanian standards they are top players. That's the point. Unless you guys can mention better alternatives to Bare or Hysaj these discussions are pointless.
In his prime (from 2016 to 2018), Enis Bardhi scored at the same rate in Hungarian league as he did in La Liga.
2016-17 Hungarian League.. 2111 minutes, 12 goals, goal every ~176 minutes
2017-18 La Liga.. 1578 minutes, 9 goals, goal every ~175 minutes
League made no difference, as Bardhi was equally effective wherever he went.

Iran is ranked in top 25 and would be favored to run through Albania anywhere in the world.
Starting CM? Teammate of Ramadani from Vejle BK, Saeed Ezatolahi Afagh, and Ahmad Nourollahi from the Arabian Gulf League.

Bardhi was 20 years old in 2016. NOT in his prime. That's a u21 player in the process of learning the professional game. The opposite of someone in his prime.

Yeah because the Asian continent Iran plays is just as strong as UEFA.

Another bad faith argument..

Prime is defined as the period where a player was most effective. For Enis Bardhi, it was from 2016 to 2018, between age 21 and 23.
Iran would be favored to run through superstars of Albania regardless of where they play!

He may have scored more goals, but that on its own doesn't make a player. I think he's much more rounded and smart now.Princ wrote: Sat Apr 09, 2022 6:44 pm Prime is defined as the period where a player was most effective. For Enis Bardhi, it was from 2016 to 2018, between age 21 and 23.

Oh and Iran are 100% not a better team than us, beating war zones like Syria or crap like India to boost their ranking means f*** all to me.

Last time Iran visited Tirana, Bet365 suggested a visitor win ~51% of time (draw ~28%, home ~21%).CanaYouDoIt wrote: Sat Apr 09, 2022 7:05 pm Oh and Iran are 100% not a better team than us, beating war zones like Syria or crap like India to boost their ranking means f*** all to me.
In the most recent trip to Europe, they beat Bosnia 0-2 in Sarajevo. Unfortunately, the “better” team is not defined as the one with most top leaguers.
