With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!
Egnatia can still beat this team the next week 1-0 is a minimum defeat and everything is possible in the return leg.. Too bad they will be missing 2 players but those foreigner players can do something. Seeing some slavic ref massacring Albanian team is not a surprise at all. If they go through they will lose hard against PAOK but for the sake of albanian identity i hope Egnatia will play the match of their life against these shkij villagers in the return match.
About racist chants its not a surprise Banja Luka is one of the most nationalistic place of serbs but i doubt these guys will travel to Albania they don't even dare to travel to Bosniak or Croatian zones when their team is playing away.
Struga had to face the strongest opponent of this first round so losing 4-2 is still a good result, they were facing a team that had 2 starter players against England few days ago.
Out of all Albanian clubs perhaps Shkendija, Ballkani and Drita have higher chances to go further.

Football in Albania truly sucks! How do you loose to some freaking serb villagers?!
We are on the same level as them i guess, in 2021 Vllaznia lost 3-1 to Siroki Brijeg but managed to overturn the result in Albania by winning 3-0 let's see how the return match goes. We gotta take into consideration that this shkij team finished ahead of Zrinjski Mostar in Bosnian league while Mostar managed to take a draw from Aston Villa last season in Confenrence league group stage and lost 1-0 in the stoppage time in England
Albanians clubs from Kategoria Superiore will always struggle in european football with yellow and red cards because Kategoria Superiore is environment for anti football managers. Most decorated and successful managers on albanian football are most negative ones Starova, Duro, Gjoka, Cungu and now Tetova, only exception is Ilir Daja but when he took over Skenderbeu they were favored by system and Skenderbeu had biggest budget but still he failed miserably when he managed Partizani and Tirana. Zejnullahu tackle was horror tackle, stupid, unnecessary but it was red card but you can't really blame him because in Kategoria Superiore you will get away even without yellow especially if you make such tackle on first minutes of the game, albanian referees would forgived also Ndreca because Egnatia was already one man down so "two red cards" will be too much. If style of refereeing doesn't change, if effective football time won't be increased defensive negative managers will keep winning and young managers as Shkembi who try to play football will always struggle and lose jobs in few weeks.
