Greece went to Wembley not that long ago and smacked England. Their team is mediocre at best, however, their mentality is very different. They have a warrior mentality.
Hope Albanian players don't start shaking as soon as they enter that environment.
I'm not worried about Asllani, Broja, Djimsiti, Kumbulla because they have experienced that type of level before but everyone else is a question mark.

lol a bad result vs greece doesn’t mean they got smacked or are average , they reached the finals of the euros and are stacked with great players.Dallku wrote: Wed Mar 19, 2025 11:25 pm Greece went to Wembley not that long ago and smacked England. their U21s alone have more talent than us, however mentality is a huge thing, albanians hear england and quake in their boots, maybe because I was raised there but I feel nothing when it comes to the english but back home everything english is idolised when the reality is it’s a big pile of stinking shit.
it’ll be really rough , Kane is simply the best ST in the world and with the injuries we have it doesn’t help.
also the biggest difference between greece and now is their manager, Tuchel is a world class manager whereas Southgate is a nothing manager. Don’t underestimate how huge that’ll be.

Yes, the guys who sell coke are idolized, but not England itself. Most of our team is diaspora, so I don't see how any of this applies to them.CanaYouDoIt wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 12:04 pmlol a bad result vs greece doesn’t mean they got smacked or are average , they reached the finals of the euros and are stacked with great players.Dallku wrote: Wed Mar 19, 2025 11:25 pm Greece went to Wembley not that long ago and smacked England. This is more about England being a "big" team, and Albania always has had a problem with these teams psychologically. Like I said in another thread, that Germany 0-0 draw in 1969 is the only time in an official match Albania has gotten a positive result against a Top 5 European NT.

These Albanian journalists are comedy. It's like they compete with eachother on who asks the most pointless questions.
Nobody has asked him why he hasn't called up 1 left back in the team. It's like they don't have any basic knowledge.

Broja, Manaj and Hoxha up top for Albania..
Loving that attack. Big, fast and physical!
Juljan Shehu makes his debut starting in midfield over Ramadani!

Broja on the wing is interesting. He can beat his man and could be like the goat Odise Roshi.
I trust Manaj against amateur teams too.
Good job for dropping Asani and Ramadani! I have no idea who this Shehu is but he can't be worse than Ramadani.

Shehu starting (and Laci) is laughable, Sylvinho really doesn't know what he's doing. Shehu is a DM and will offer nothing in attack, like Gjasula, Laci cant control a ball.
Why not start the technical midfielders like Pajaziti , makes no sense.

Broja : "Manaj is a striker who likes to score a lot of goals, I am a striker too, and I like that, however I think I can also play on both wings, give assists and create chances. Even when I was at Chelsea's academy, they used to give me the freedom to play everywhere in attack, as Sylvinho did today, to create confusion in the opposition's defense.
Manaj : I am happy for the goals and for all the players, Broja and Uzuni specifically. I understand Asllani on the pitch very well and we have a good connection. I'm really happy for Broja's return and I hope he scores as many goals as possible, there is no room for rivalry either at club or national team level.
Asllani: Shehu is a very technical footballer. I found him very good. We play almost the same, ahead of the defense.
Shehu : I was surprised and really happy when Sylvinho told me I was playing today, because I didn't know before. This national team break is the first contact I had with Sylvinho. Because it was my first game, I tried to play more simply and securely, but not for a lack of confidence.
Hoxha : I'm happy I was able to enter and give an assist. At my club, things are going well, sometimes up and sometimes down, but that is football. However, I want to play in another league next season to be able to show my quality.
Sylvinho : "The choices of players vary game by game. Maybe in one game we could make 4 or 5 substitutions. I genuinely believe that when you do that, it changes the game entirely.
They had a very good low block. I want to compliment Shehu who played a good and balanced match. In 1v1 situations on the wing, Broja is very strong. We will see what changes we make, Broja can adapt himself very well, as he has done before. With Hoxha on the other side, this was a lineup capable of unlocking the match.
*Question from journalist* (Can we see Broja used in this role against stronger teams?)
We have seen (already) that he has played this position very well in the past. You have to use the players' characteristics, and he is very strong, he can enter the box easily because he is very strong. It depends on the opponent, he can adapt to any role, he has strength, technique, and goalscoring ability. It also depends on the balance of the team. We balanced the team well at the defensive level in England, and he played 30 very good minutes.
Shehu opened up the game well, and he helped the team advance the ball."
