Albanians abroad

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

Shehu is good and won't be surprised if he moves to a top 2-5 league in the near feature. He definitely has made a serie a player (Ramadani) look expendable and deservingly took his place. Doesn't seem like he's giving it up any time soon either.

Sure he plays too safe with Albania but that's more because of Sylvinho's tactics than anything. With his club he has 5 goal contributions in 8 games so he can attack too if needed. Asllani who has played with world class midfielders constantly praises Shehu after every game. (he never praised Ramadani btw).

We have a Sheriff Kallaku... his name is Adrion Pajaziti. Another typical overrated Kosovar player who's starting to steal minutes from better players. Many such cases..
Firstly Shehu definitely will not be making a move to a top league at 27 … he’s just not good enough

secondly typical overrated kosovar player ?? wtf are you talking about , thuj shqiptar o kar at least
If Pajaziti was from Fier he'd be saying he's the next Verrati :D
I really don’t get his hatred of the guys from Kosove , like they haven’t carried the national team all these years. Maybe an ex from Gjilani or something fucked him over

Shehu was dominant against Gilbrator and San Marino I'll give him that. But then again I think you can find a local mailman and he'll be able to hold up his own against the waiters of San Marino. Maybe he'll join the bundesliga along with Kristi Qose, Jurgen Celhaku, Jorgo Pellumbi and the other wonderboys of Albania :D

Shehu was man of the match against Serbia. He was the reason Albania controlled the midfield and should've won.

If he was from Fier he wouldn't even make the team because of no agent connections. Same player who got eliminated by "Dinamo City" btw.

Ah yes Julian Shehu the Albanian Xabi Alonso 😂 Right after Sherrif Kallaku the Albanian Pogba.

Give me a break. That team you lined is all diaspora players with the exception of Muci and Albanian Alonso

I don't know about the overrated bit but its becoming more and more clear Albania and Kosovo are separate entities at least football-wise. We don't touch their players (unless they switch themselves), they don't touch ours, and the vast majority of Kosovars play for Kosovo.

Its an unfortunate situation but it seems like Kosovan football has its own identity independent of Albania now so describing them as Kosovan rather than Albanian is appropriate.

It is a shame political incidents have robbed us of what could be a generation defying unified Albanian team, but it is what it is, Kosovan players don't really identify with Albania anymore so we gotta accept it.

Respect to them!

Kosovo Albanians contributed a great deal to our history!

Now that they have their own NT, all the best to them!

Bajrami and Ramadani made history and are legends of the NT!

Shehu hasn’t proven anything so can’t mention him in the same breath as those guys..

Kosovars will continue to play for Albania, they're talented and patriotic too. The thing that frustrates me, is that the clubs from Albania aren't producing anything. They have filled the youth teams with foreigners too, which should be illegal, as that kills local youth football.
