Agreed with what you said about VV but on PDIU you couldn't be any more wrong. They are the Cham party and viewed as one-issue Party (the Cham issue) and have no support whatsoever outside of the Cham community. They are a creation of Berisha I think.

I try to follow what is happening in Albania but i do not know in detail what goes on there like i know what goes on in Kosovë. I read the PDIU manifesto a couple weeks ago and it definitely was not a one issue party. Yes they focus on the Çams but this is very good as everyone else neglects them. They also focus on the Bashkim Kombëtar, Albanians in all ethnic Albanian terroritories and are the main party that concentrate on diaspora. We have needed a party to take care of all Albanians and not just the ones in the Republic of Albania. It has been said before that Tirana needs to become stronger and bring Prishtina and Shkup closer to it, and this would said very well as look at how the shkije in Kosovë and the shkije in Bosnia and Montenagro all look to beograd. PDIU i THINK want to create this powerful Tirana.

Again i will say i do not know about them like i know about Vetëvendosja but from what i have seen they are doing a good job and growing well.

PDIU is a joke. They are there to scrap some extra votes that won't go to PS/PD. They are the Cham party (and Shpetim Idrizi is a corrupt moron who does nothing), and apart from Chams no one votes for them.

If Albania was having sovereignty issues like Kosova, they would have a VV too. VV isn't just some random failed party like Spahiu who got 0 seats in parliament. VV is different from other nationalist parties as it's primarily a left wing party, not right wing/xenophobic b.s. like UKIP or National Front.

The funny thing is even "mature" democracies like Sweden have moronic far right wing parties, that Albania doesn't have. Move apart the pseudo-patriotism (inferiority complex) that Albanians have, and they're probably the least nationalistic country in Europe.

Vetëvendosja is a nationalistic movement which looks after the interets of Albanians in all Albanian terroritories. It wants unification for Kosova with Albania. This movement shares many of the same beliefs as Lidhja e Prizrenit and Balli Kombëtar so i do not know why your saying 'chill blah blah'. I said Vetëvendosje are gonna unify Albania and Kosova and that is their aim so i have no idea what you are talking about.

I wouldn't even call the majority nationalistic, but even those who are aren't fascists. In general they're socialdemocrats. There are different kinds of nationalisms. VV is for a referendum asking the people in Kosova and Albania whether they want to unify. For that to even be remotely possible, Albania needs to have its own VV. And there's no VV in Albania - only sympathizers.

Are Vetëvendosje those clowns that put tear gas in the parliament and cause all sort of trouble with police and stuff?? In Albania they wouldn't last a week. They would get eliminated faster than Aleanca Kuqezi. In Kosovo they are popular because of the current state that nation is at right now...because of Serbia, identity crisis, etc.. Kosovars will eventually mature up and get over this phase as the country normalizes politically and socially. Then everyone will start laughing at "rebels" like Vetëvendosje.

PDIU is not even remotely close to VV. Forget about their program, anybody can talk a good game and put together a program that looks nice on paper. I like their stance and how they have raised awareness on the Cham issue but PDIU just serves as a vehicle to advance the personal interests of Idrizi first and foremost. This is not unlike the rest of the parties in Albania or Kosove but VV at least strikes me as a movement driven by national interests first and foremost.

The Kosova parliament (and the Albania one) are not parliaments. They are buildings where the fate of the Albanians officially gets fvcked, so tear gas? I say sarin gas please

I accept i may be wrong on PDIU. However on Vetëvendosje they are an amazing party with and amazing leader and Albanians are lucky to have them.
