Congrats to Kosova and hope we do well in the WC qualifiers. Now we have a real chance to qualify.

LedZep is pretty happy, he's the one breaking the news to the Slav morons on Xtratime :)

Funny there were less votes against at the FIFA congress (23) than at the UEFA one (24). Massive support with 141 pro votes. As usual the Europeans show their ugly faces, f*** them all.

I'm over the moon for this decision just in spite of the shkijet. Because I was more than happy with uefa, where club football takes priority.

Plako, it's not like Europeans are anti-Kosova, but they're all voting in self interest.

Do you really expect Switzerland to let go off all their best players and turn from a top 15 team, to a mid-tier team again? Or Spain to set a precedent for Catalonia to get their own team?

Europeans in general have been heavily biased against us but I see your point that most of the votes are self-serving.

9 of the Swiss starting under 16's are Albanians. I think people are underestimating how much this will affect them. I wonder what their plan is, would be reallly really interesting.

Very simple, freeze the Albanians out and focus on players who will return dividends. For some reason I don't think the top players will quit the Swiss, they are heavily vested in the NT program and it would be career suicide. The only thing that will change is that KNT will get first dibs on these players as opposed to ANT.

Instead of waiting for the Swiss u16 players, let's make sure we're actually trying to invest in our own homegrown players and we'll be able to maintain two or three national teams if we want to.

Our focus should be to unite our leagues and in due time also our NTs.

Very happy that we received such support. 141 is a crazy number, as only 111 countries in the world have recognized Kosova as a state, and I wasn't expecting such a high number and even fearing not getting the necessary 105 votes to become a member after that UEFA voting. f*** the Europeans - always a kurvë, throughout history and to this day.
