You don't seem to know what VV is, so I'll let you be excused. They're exactly what Albania needs; Vehement against corruption, social democrats, hard workers, not criminal and competent.

I assumed that they were only diplomatic friends but I guess not.
Considering Albania is run by pimps and drug dealers, the only foreign investors are fascists like Erdogan and countries with pseudo-imperialist ambitions like China. All the Germans, Austrians, Americans, Canadians are leaving. He needs to suck at Erdo's teat, or else the country'd go bankrupt.
Rama is a pragmatist and will make allies of whomever is willing to throw financial support behind him. This has historically been the case with Albanian leaders. As for the Austrians they are not going anywhere, they run our banking and insurance industry (courtesy of Fatos Nano). The Turks, as far as I am aware, built the highway to connect us with Kosova and currently run former Metalurgjik factory in Elbasan and Eagle mobile.

Pretty much (btw insurance companies will be Albanian run now too, just banks left) They have a lot of $$ in Albania and I'm not against Turks. I'm against fascists like Erdogan who use our ties to spread Islamic and Neo-Ottoman propaganda (which Rama doesn't seem to care about). It was strange seeing Rama as one of the key guys in his wedding too. Guess fascists don't have that many friends :D

Tbh, I still much rather he'd flirt with Islamo-fascists like Erdogan, than with Putin. We fucking dodged a bullet there in the 1960s.

Crazy. Please listen to Albin Kurti before you say something as ridiculous as that. You don't need people in government talking to you about nationalism and religion? What do Vetëvendosja have to do with religion? And what is this great thing that the people in government are talking to you about right now?

Albania will not get a replica copy of Vetëvendosja, if things go well they will get the real one. The next elections in Kosovë Vetëvendosja win, whether the elections are put forward or not.

I really hope so but I am afraid the Europeans and the Americans are scared of VV and they'll rig the elections in favor of Thaci-Mustafa.

They say America is an evil nation for wanting to nation build other countries. I say please nation build, cause we need it :D

The American Embassy and EU are shoving down Sala's and Meta's throat the judicial reform that will get rid of their friends/extremely corrupt judges that have been keeping them and their friends out of prison for the past 25 years. They'll even build an independent FBI branch in Albania. PD is literally shitting their pants, and trying to delay as much as possible, while US Embassy has indirectly any who refuses to sign the reform as cowards. If PD delays any longer, expect the US Embassy to come out in public against Berisha and Basha and call them cowards.

Let's hope we see some motherfuckers in prison at the end of this journey :gezuar:

Yeah, like EULEX was and is the most expensive mission of the EU and was destined to root out corruption in Kosova. 8 years later and corruption is as strong as ever and EULEX is a part of it.

It's different though when you're an EU candidate. That's what this is for. From 1990 to 2013, most American interference has been crap.

They've really raised the standard for joining the EU the last couple of years. EU in and of itself is kind of useless, but the reforms needed to get there are the important part. I guess they don't want Russia profiting from instability in the Balkans like they did with Cuba decades ago.
