Balozi was the Venetian ambassador that wanted to marry Gjergj Elez Alia's sister and was later killed by Gjergj who then succumbed to his death. Not exactly a beloved figure of the Albanian folklore :)

As for Baloz, I got a bit of messy informations. Someone sais it is a sea monster. Other sais he is a black knight (chose it for the second reason). I didn't know about this Venetian thing :p

Well it's just a hypothesis. But it's true that Baloz is a villain in the Gjergj Elez Alia saga.
