In all fairness just because he's a great soccer player for us doesn't mean he should be weighing in on politics :)

Good for him to stand up for his beliefs. Especially since 99% of pro athletes are spineless cowards afraid to share their opinions.

Exactly, much respect for him. Haramit si bëjmë reklamë is the perfect thing to say.

He does not want to influence the people negatively is what he is trying to say so well done to him

Wasn't it Mustafi who removed a beer from the podium where he sat at a press conference?

Also, players having logos removed from the shirts have existed for quite some time. I still remember Kanouté, when he played in Sevilla and they had some kind of sports betting compay as their main sponser, but they granted his wishes and he didn't have their logo on his shirt.

Not a big deal.

Just about had it with this guy. First refuses NT like 3 times, now using NT as a tool to proselytize his religion.

If you don't want it fine. Make that decision in private. Why go on social media and promote your politicial/religious decision, if not for publicity? The NT is not a recruit center. This guy is sick mentally.

If there is a single Albanian politician that I respect, he is Albin Kurti. You can tell by just listening to him that he burns for the Albanian cause.
