We have better players but we don't have a team yet. Unfortunately during this month qualifiers the team won't have it's three best players :

Klaudio Ndoja
Franko Bushati
Kevin Dillard

Some of the old guard like Andrea Gjinaj and Kuqo retired from Basket.


But still part of the team at the moment there are some talents like:

Franci Zeneli Serie A (italia)
Celis Taflaj Serie A2 (Italia)
and 6-7 diaspora players from european leagues.

Also Kosova's basket league best player is Gerti Shima (the captain of our national team) .


At the end we need 6-7 good players to make the core for the future as the Basket FA just woke up after three years of not competing internationally doing a "Rilindje Project" because of Edi Rama pushing for it . We are playing Montenegro - Georgia and Slovakia :

Our coach is the same one who won the Balkan League with Prishtina .

His team didn't allow him to join because they are preparing for the turkish basket league . There are another two US players like him who would like to join our national team according to Pinari. Edhe pse ndoshta duket dikca e tepert natyralizimi i lojtareve me ngjyre , ne disa sporte duhet leju. Me 3-4 lojtare te natyralizum ne basket nga NBAja mund te krijojme nje skuader shume konkurrente ne Europe
