Teams just can't call the shots if they wanna play or not. That's what it comes down to.

I understand that point of view and I unfortunately feel as if CAS will also see it like that since we are a small country. However, at the same tim the question has to be, was it reasonable? Was it reasonable to continue the game? Was it reasonable to call the Albanian team out onto the field? Was it reasonable for us to refuse? I know CAS doesn't try to gain new evidence but if they can find a mistake in the decision making process of UEFA then Albania could very well be awarded 3 points. However, personally at the very least I hope they take away the fake 3-0 win Serbia received. To me it seems as if Serbia benefitted from it even though they also lost the 3 points, which is totally unreasonable. A few months ago, it looked as if Albania tried to park the tank and steal 3 points from Serbia however as matches have played out it could be possible that now that it's obvious how superior our team is that the even is truly viewed not as a team trying to sneak 3 points but a vastly inferior being given a 3-0 result in their stadium because their own fans came onto the field. To me that simply can not stand.Dallku wrote:Teams just can't call the shots if they wanna play or not. That's what it comes down to.

Well no doubt it wasn't reasonable and on moral judgement Albania has every right in the world but the court will judge based on rules and interests not morals and emotions. Fact of the matter is that you just can't overrule authority no matter if they're right or wrong. It's like if you get a completely phantom red card during a game you still have to get out of the pitch even if the ref was totally wrong. CAS will protect sports authority just like UEFA did... I was thinking like you but that Montenegro-Russia game gave me a dose of reality. You just have to do what the ref says.

So it's official? The only news sites I have found claiming this are Albanian ones so I'm a bit skeptical.
