We can't take for granted how good Strakosha has been in these qualifiers!

He hasn't made any dumb mistakes lately like he used to.

Winning plenty of corners against them

Problem is they are giants... How can you score a set piece against them

Bajrami needs to be made kurban for a real winger.

I'm really impressed with our physical performance, we are matching them in the races to the second balls, we are keeping up with their attackers and we are winning duels up the pitch.

This is the most mobile I've seen Albania in a long time against a top team.

I don't think England is taking this all that seriously tbh. They probably went drinking in Tirana last night till 3 in the morning.

Strakosha has been the best player in this qualifier. He has barely put a foot wrong the entire qualifier and in fact probably kept us in multiple games, against Latvia and Serbia.

In particular, his shot stopping is exemplary, he always catches if he is able and when he parries he parries away from danger.

He has been super super reliable and tbh it isn't close, he is the most important player in this qualifier.

Good half

He has to sub out Bajrami though. Even the corpse of Jasir Asani might be more useful.

We really need this game more than England needs it. It's been since the days of Panajot Pano that we've gotten an official result against one of the major league European NTs.

It's getting to be a straight up embarrassing taboo at this point that's impeding our long term prospects. I'd take even a draw.
