I highly disagree, it’s a step back no matter what, no one’s buying you after leaving a top league to play in turkey where the quality is really bad.
A bottom half team in italy and spain probably wins the title in turkey , it’s full of older guys just getting a pay check .
Horrible move , not like Muci who’s come from Albania , this guys on loan from Inter choosing the money over good football.
But he wasn't even playing for a mid table club so where would he go?? To a relegation club and then Serie B next season??
Like Broja who signed for Burnley is guaranteed to play in the Championship next season and might even get stuck there.
Top clubs of smaller leagues >>>>>>>> Second divisions. At the very least they would get to play in Euro competitions and be somewhat in the spotlight.

I think the leagues in Europe are valued accurately because they are all connected to each other. Good talents from smaller Euro leagues jump in value when they show that they have potential for bigger leagues. The economy is the same too.
It's leagues from other continents that are more of a mystery because they are isolated with Europe and they are also poorer/have a different economy so the values can be misleading.

Yes, it overvalues English players, because teams want players that are proven in that league with that football style and are willing to overpay for it. That's simply cause they have more spending money.
Everyone else is more or less the same. The top 3-4 teams in Turkey are worthy to be mid or bottom table teams in Italy. But they are not comparable to the top teams.
Again, we have their results in Europe. We can assess this objectively
