Stadiums

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

^^20 years too late

But in all seriousness maybe we should host the big nations in that match to get them out of their comfort zone with the patchy grass, cold showers, dysfunctional facilities, etc. Have an "accidental" power outage like the time AC milan played in Tirane in the 30th minute to get the Spanish team shook.

most of those games were pointless friendlies anyway. i'd say better late than never, although wish the capacity was around 40k, but that's wishful thinking on my part. maybe when my grandkids get elected PM we'll finally get the stadium we deserve.

This is what happens when politicians put their nose even in the sport.

Result

75% of the stadium don't have roof for the public

And here a real stadium for an European city if the politicians wouldn't steal the money.

I went to Loro Boriçi yesterday and i have a lot of praise for what they did there. Pur politicians get alot of stick, they deserve it, but Loro Boriçi is a beauty. Each one of the fan groups got a sector (those divided parts of the stadium) starting from the left it was Ballistet, Illyrian Elite, Plisat (number one for this game, as in loudest and made their presence know the most). It looked like a real modern stadium.

That's so cool to see. Albania finally will have a REAL stadium like the rest of the world. Better late than never.

(Loro Borici and Elbasan arena are cottage farms disguised as stadiums. It's embarrassing for a NT playing there)

I will forgive Edi Rama for the shitty Loro Borici/Elbasan Arenas if:

A) He was was saving money to spend on this stadium
B) All the workers are Albanian and NOT some foreign company..
